Jesse Smith

Statement

Writing about yourself always feels disingenuous, so a long time colleague and friend wrote this:

A hardworking and inspired filmmaker, animator and writer, who is comfortable in a variety of software and genres from comedy to horror. Jesse’s drive and storytelling ability shine through in whatever medium he uses, working tirelessly to ensure the end product is the best possible. Thriving when in the lead creatively; Jesse knows how to organise others into harnessing their own strengths and extract the best performances from the cast. Using technology skillfully to mould the product, Jesse has fluency in all aspects and stages of visual storytelling. Jesse has a vision with his projects, already having been recognised in previous endeavours at film festivals. Jesse’s enterprising nature, combined with his ambition and skills make for a dynamic brand whose projects will surely flourish and merit investment.
