James Hughes is aspiring to work in animated / CG television and feature-length films as a character modeller and texture artist, a graduate from Bristol school of animation. James specialises in 3D modelling, texturing and understanding the complete pipeline, experienced with all stages of creating a final film from his graduation film ‘Burning Roots’. He has an understanding of a variety of programs, including Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and the Adobe Suite. He is a hardworking, ambitious, motivated team member and strives to do the very best.

Worked as part of a team as a 3D generalist on a variety of live projects, ranging from modelling and animating prehistoric animals for a VR headset experience at the Eden Project to building assets to go into a private MOD project.

I spent three months in 2018 working alongside the BBC on their SharpShotz campaign, helping school children create an educational film from their imaginations on current and relevant issues.
