As a picture book maker, I am interested in how we can present alternate visions of the future. Can the picture book play a part in creating a radically different, more equal society? For my final project I drew on my father's experience of Iraq as a child, I employed the picture book to play with form and content and blended print with illustrated ceramic forms.
