Statement

As a copywriter and social media manager, I have turned what started as something I enjoyed doing in my spare time - my side hustle - into the creation of my own freelance company - http://nullacontent.co.uk/.

From writing for my own travel blog and guest blogging for others, I built the confidence to take the next step, discover my niche and start producing content and writing for my own clients and brands and businesses that I look up to.

My freelance work in social media management and copywriting has pointed me in the direction of pursuing a career in this area and ideally focusing on helping sustainable, independent brands. I am a motivated, organised individual with the intention to bring ambition and eagerness to a team, whilst being open to learn and adopt new skills. To put it simply, I love to be busy!

Achievements & Experience

Experience:

- Weekend:In (internship at social media marketing, influencer marketing and influencer events company for independent brands.)
Helped with creating content for brands - photographing products, producing mood boards for campaigns, sourcing images for social media and was introduced to social media management and engagement.

- RatPack Travel (copywriter, 2018 - present day)
Contribute to weekly travel guide blog posts and use my own photography to accompany blog entries.

- Manifest London (internship at brand communications agency)
Reaching out to influencers/press/celebrities to attend a press event, collecting social media coverage for campaigns and running press/product drops around London.

- Tincan Coffee Co (social media manager, 2019 - present day)
Upload regular content on Instagram stories and take photos for the feed.

- Channel Sunshine (personal travel blog)
Found my love for writing and have taught myself a little about SEO, website creation and managing a website.

ANUKA Jewellery social media management

I have been managing ANUKA's social media (https://www.instagram.com/anuka_jewellery/) for half a year now, curating a feed that not only encourges followers to purchase the products, but that makes sense, has a flow and followers a certain aesthetic. My role also includes engagement, hashtag strategy and creating content.

Unearth - Third Year final project

Unearth is a digital based project that I created in third year. The concept behind Unearth is to uncover misconceptions and myths surrounding sustainable living in an to attempt to reverse some of the damage inflicted on the planet Instagram feed (https://www.instagram.com/unearthcommunity/) and website for the campaign (http://uwejournalism.net/hollyharris/).

Millennial Campaign - Second year project

I created a newsletter mock-up, blog post and social media content for a campaign targeted at millennials. For the campaign, I adopted a down to earth, sarcastic tone of vioce to suit the target audience. I particularly enjoyed the design aspect and the creation of layouts and graphics.
