Statement

Primarily involving silkscreen, letterpress, and artists’ books, my art practice focuses on mental health, environmentalism, and their interconnections. I make art in the in-between, a space that allows my corpus of work to explore important issues but still sometimes exist as silly doodles. I want my work to enlighten viewers on certain contemporary issues as well as inspire them to explore creativity without boundaries. I push myself to let go and let my surrounding influence my work, a necessary challenge in exploring my relationship with mental health as an artist.
