Clár Tillekens (New York City, 1993) is an American-Irish photographer.
Her work focuses on transnationalism, first-generation identity, and plural citizenship. Prompted by her own experiences, Tillekens examines how national identities are becoming increasingly hyphenated through globalism. And with three-percent of the world’s population living outside of their country of origin, she explores the varying layers of immigration.
