Polly is a photographer based between Bristol and West Wales. Her recent work draws on local historical references and uses sociological knowledge and research to shed light on otherwise disregarded areas of society. By revisiting forgotten stories and harking back to nature and the land, Polly’s images hint to a previous age.
Driven and ambitious and with a determination to make visions come to life regardless of any hurdles presented, Polly emphasises strong symbolic visuals as a priority. She is passionate about contemporary photography whilst being adaptable to various situations, from studio and on location shoots to working in the darkroom and digital post processing.
