Miranda Parry

My work focuses on an in-depth exploration of the natural world, documenting and recording the passing of time in a world where the pandemic has changed the feeling of time altogether. Recently I have been focusing on the depiction of trees within my work, my trees acting as a symbol of altruistic aspiration to humanity. Within this study of trees I have focused on the macro and micro within nature, through the use of lithography prints. With the recording of 30 individual bark rubbings representing the personal identity of each and every tree in Queens Square, Bristol. Alongside this

series I focused on individual tree drawings that represented the community of trees when placed in series.
