Ned Kimber

London and Bristol-based. I work in editorial illustration and specialise in satire.

My illustrations often have a limited colour palette and a graphic aesthetic, and I’m drawn to creating odd characters.

I’m driven by commenting on current affairs, using my work to create allegories of the political and social climate.

I have a desire to highlight topical issues and shed light on real-world problems. In a day and age where a broken media ecosystem is prevalent, it becomes more and more important to hold power to account, and this is what I aim to do.

I have just completed my

book titled ‘The Plunging Spectacle’ full of creative writing, poetry and illustrations. It is satirising Brexit and is in the visual language of the circus, looking at the idea of being sold an illusion…

This will be on sale on my website.
