
Diverse Voices Series: Lubaina Himid
UWE School of Art & Design Diverse Voices Series presents an online presentation and discussion with Lubaina Himid to speak about her work and activism in Black British Art in the UK today.
In 2017, Lubaina became the first Black woman to win the Turner Prize and has exhibited extensively in the UK and internationally. She was made a CBE for services to art and elected a Royal Academician in 2018. Lubaina will be having her major solo show at the Tate Modern in November 2021.
