Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking (MA)

MA Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at UWE Bristol is best known for its experimental, forward-thinking approach to printmaking today and the future of the printed artefact. With a focus on critical thinking and making, our students explore and experiment with a diverse mix of traditional and emerging fine art printmaking media.

We have a broad base of students with diverse backgrounds working in a professional, well-connected, research-active environment supported by highly regarded master printers, practicing artists and researchers. We challenge our students to think what constitutes a print in the 21st century. We also encourage our students to challenge us.

Our

students and alumni have been awarded funding from: Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation, Canada; Visegrad Scholarship, Budapest; Eaton Fund; Oppenheim – John Downes Memorial Fund; The Arts Council; Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust; 3D3 Fellowship; Peter Reddick Bursary, UK and many more.
