Wildlife Filmmaking (MA)

The films included in this digital showcase reflect the wide range of creative approaches explored by UWE’s MA Wildlife Filmmaking students, as they explore a variety of subjects to tell important stories about the natural world.

Based in Bristol – the international hub for wildlife film – the MA is offers students the unique opportunity to develop essential production skills, in academic partnership with the BBC’s world-renowned Natural History Unit.

With an emphasis on the intensive learning of practical skills, each year produces a sought-after group of production-ready graduates. The programme’s alumni now represent over 30 countries, who work in

natural history production around the world. Our graduates have also received numerous international festival awards and nominations including; BAFTA, Wildscreen, Jackson Hole and IWFF.
