Throughout my time at UWE_Film I've had the opportunity to experiment with a range of different specialisms. While on larger projects I've often found myself producing, writing or 1st AD-ing, editing has been the one constant throughout my three years. Spending hours watching through footage, picking out selects and making scribbles in a notebook of interesting moments - editing is where I feel most at home.
I've edited a range of different short form projects, from a 30-second boxing commercial for Dreams beds, to a 10-minute documentary filmed in Australia during the pandemic. Each have been challenging and rewarding in
In the last year, I've worked towards getting my certification in Avid Media Composer and now use it as my software of choice for all editing projects, and more recently I've begun to teach myself how to colour grade in Davinci Resolve.
