My recent work has arisen from repeated walking up and down a disused railway line during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to feel a sense of place and connect to the passage of time. My research led to the development of a body of work that exploits the idea of the edition through the production of variable prints. I have harnessed the agency of the materials, through the rituals of etching, to conjure up the liminal space between the mark and its comprehension to create a sense of temporal space where we can feel a sense of duration.
