Jecca Coleman

Over the course of my journey at UWE Bristol, I've been lucky enough to work on some incredible and exciting projects. Experimenting with a variety of different specialisms, through different styles and genres of film and video content, I have developed a good range of skills that I can take with me into the professional industry.

From my degree, I have taken a keen interest in sports documentaries and helping to tell the stories of athletes in a personal and engaging manner. For my graduate film, I was privileged enough to take myself and a small crew to Italy,

where I directed a short skiing documentary. This was an amazing opportunity that led to me wanting to work in sport and adventure documentaries upon graduation.

ALFREDO

A short documentary that I directed for my graduate film. The film follows Alfredo who, at the age of 80, looks back on the chapters of his life and finds comfort within his hometown of Bormio.

Headwind

Headwind is a short documentary that I co directed/produced. The film tells the story of Max Fiore, as he works towards his goal of becoming a paralympian.

ELEMENTS

Elements by Stella Jordan was a short fashion film that I worked on as the project's editor.

EcoStardust Social Media Advertisement

A short social media advertisement that a small team and I created for EcoStardust, which was later published online. On this project, I worked as the co-director/producer and cinematographer.

EcoStardust Social Media Advertisement

A second short social media advertisement that a small team and I created for EcoStardust. On this project, I worked as the co-director/producer, production designer and editor.

Jeronikin

A short narrative film that I worked on in my second year, as the project's editor, in which the main characters Charlie and Elliott embark on their annual camping trip honouring their deceased childhood friend Alex.
