Harry Sullivan

I am an illustrator who loves creating vibrant and visually engaging art. My work explores a number of different methods and end results, and I have experience in creating imagery for diverse forms of storytelling, through creating narratives using both moving and still image, which I design to harmonise visually with both word and music, while currently building experience for an authorial role in storytelling. From planning with cinematic storyboarding and expressive character design in animation to psychedelic graphically minded work and wacky dystopian worlds for editorial, I don't like to limit where my work can take me content-wise.

The Mouse Utopia Experiments

This editorial piece was designed as a 3-page foldout to accompany an article about 'The mouse utopia experiments', which was printed in a publication about consumption.

The Sword of Future Present Past

A piece from a series of experimental prints/animations which were developed through writing music to accompany the image and show a narrative inspired by 'The once and future king'.

Locked Down and Out

About life during covid and the feeling of constriction there was while living in the city and the brief respite which came with feeling connected to nature by having a view of a nest of seagulls hatching from my window.

Unseen Depths

An abstract narrative piece as part of an anthology about the 'Unseen' in nature. The piece depicts a diver searching for something hidden in the depths with the light source guiding the viewer, many rich textures and overlay obscuring the mystery.

Spectral Dissonance

An experiment with metaphorical visual language and texture.

The Sword of Future Present Past 2

Another piece from a series of experimental prints/animations which were developed through writing music to accompany the image and show a narrative inspired by 'The once and future king'.
