Zoë Ferrier

Animation 2023

Hi, I’m Zoë!

An artist originally from Cornwall, now based in Bristol. I’m a swimmer, wildlife and nature enthusiast, fantasy book lover and chronic doodler.

I enjoy experimenting with illustrative techniques to find new avenues into visual storytelling, and am passionate about creating stories and characters that you’ll remember fondly for years to come.

'PEST' Trailer

My short film 'PEST' tells the story of Tora - a troll who wants to take a cool photo, but keeps getting interrupted by a fly.

A Selection of Backgrounds from 'PEST'

I used the minimalistic and 'inverted' style to showcase the lighting effects and bring a unique charm to the film.
