Abi Corten

I’m Abi Corten, I’m a Welsh actor based in Newport, Wales. I graduated with a BA Hons degree in Drama and Acting from UWE in 2023. My passion lies within theatre and recently I have ventured into screen; I would love to bring the Welsh language into mainstream media and help young Welsh people recognise themselves in artists like me. Currently, I’m in a production of The Master Builder, playing the role of Hilda. This show will be performed in early April. I am also the current Programme Support Assistant for the Drama department here at UWE. My role heavily involves the managing of our social channel including Instagram. I’m very excited for more opportunities in the future, whether in stage, film or marketing.
