Issy Mayes
Over the course of my studies, I've been deeply influenced by two key themes: sustainability and identity. I firmly believe that these concepts are fundamental to the future of the fashion industry, and I have explored them in depth through a range of projects.
For me, fashion isn't just about the visual aesthetic - it's about making a positive impact on the world around us, and creating and promoting garments that truly reflect our unique individual identities. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to join me in advocating for a more sustainable, inclusive fashion industry that values creativity, innovation, and social responsibility above all else.
I am now eager to apply my skills and knowledge in the world of PR. My goal is to work with innovative brands that share my passion for sustainability and identity, and assist them in effectively communicating their message to the public.

Twins
Expressions of an individual’s identity in duality. A series exploring the relationship between fashion and twins, casted from around the United Kingdom. Visuals representing shared experience, a reflected image of self, and a concept of belonging.
Androgyny
This project focuses on capturing the essence of androgynous fashion and identity through a series of images. The aim is to explore the intersection between masculinity and femininity by blurring the boundaries between traditionally male and female clothing.
Positioned Stussy Campaign
The Positioned Stussy Campaign photoshoot takes place surrounded by nature to reflect its nature based products. They are positioned in a way that shows off the Stussy logo on their clothing, that not being the main focus of the image.
Positioned Stella Mccartney Campaign
A proposed photoshoot for Stella McCartney looking at circularity in the fashion industry. The idea behind the circularity concept drives a sustainable and ethical future for fashion by endorsing the idea of reusing, recycling and refurbishing clothes.
Animal Cruelty
A photoshoot centred around animal cruelty in the fashion industry. My message is clear: the fashion industry must take a hard look at its practices and move towards more compassionate, sustainable alternatives in order to protect innocent animals from harm.
