Kate Bentley

Combining my love of fashion and culture, I am a stylist and creative director working with an emphasis on creating characters and telling their stories.

My visual communication perspective spans beyond fashion, allowing me to add wider perspectives to my direction. I enjoy equipping my projects with research, to give as much context as possible through meticulous styling choices.

I also enjoy using my creative skills cross-media, while honing in on my main focus of styling. For my final project I attempted to create an anti-fashion fashion magazine, to incorporate my interest in journalism with fashion communication. I enjoyed researching classical fashion magazines and picking them apart while still refining my art direction to an aspiring professional level.

Through studying fashion communication I have gained valuable experience collating research and ideas to create campaign decks and project proposals which I look forward to implementing into professional creative projects.
