Nia Brannan
I am a multidisciplinary creative with a focus on analogue photography and styling, utilising these creative outlets to challenge normative ideologies within the fashion industry.
Typically my work combines photography and styling, to create a raw and honest depiction of different individuals through an analogue medium, furthering my intimate approach. My work primarily explores themes of identity and community, aiming to capture moments of the everyday.
My desire to celebrate identity is evident through my styling, which mainly aims to dispute common societal stereotypes. I am continuously developing my practices via collaborative projects, and the exploration of different photography styles to build my portfolio and network.

Dean Davies Collaboration
This project aimed to highlight the contrast between the environment and styling to challenge gender and societal hierarchy stereotypes. Using found and second hand garments the looks intended to make fashion accessible to everyone.
Simone Rocha campaign
Styling entered around Simone Rocha, featuring men in stereotypical women’s garments, focusing on utilising fashion to challenge gender stereotypes.
My styling within this project drew inspiration from Simone Rocha, fused with my own style to create vintage and unique looks. The project aimed to challenge the perception of the role of the female in society.
Cherish
