A showreel compiling the two short films I have written & directed in the past year. My work centres around telling stories of underrepresented youth in the South-West region. Music by Kesh Harrison.

As a writer/director from the South-West, I am driven to create stories that centre around young people from this region, and the complex experience of growing up in geographical isolation. I am passionate about film's ability to elicit empathy and capture the current zeitgeist of contemporary Britain, and I hope to use my skills to tell stories of our current time in a nuanced and humanistic way - through the eyes of young people.
Inspired by the work of Shane Meadows and Andrea Arnold, I intend to make social realism films which also capture the beauty, laughter, light and magic which also make up the everyday experience of life - elements which I feel are often missing in depictions of the working-class experience.
I am also a videographer/photographer and have shot events such as Glastonbury festival where I filmed artists such as Kae Tempest.
