Rabia is a graphic designer and photographer from Karachi, Pakistan. Her projects have a deep personal connection, reflecting her passion for sharing her culture through food, art, and language. She played a versatile role as an artist, combining her skills in storytelling, graphic design, photography, food styling, and art direction in her final MA Graphic Arts project. She explored the medium of editorial design, particularly zines, to depict her culinary journey from Karachi to Bristol and showcase the rich culinary traditions of her country, Pakistan. She experimented with creative folding formats for her recipe card books, and her project features vibrant photography that captures the essence of Pakistan through traditional themes. She enjoys incorporating decorative elements and vibrant colours to infuse excitement into her work. Her career aspirations involve working in the fields of brand design, food styling, and photography.
My project, 'Culture Kahani' portrays my culinary journey from Karachi to Bristol and showcases Pakistan's rich culinary traditions. I explored editorial design, specifically zines, to express my story and experimented with creative ways to present recipe cards books.

Pakistani truck art is a vibrant form of self-expression for truck drivers. Inspired by this tradition, I created illustrations of various truck components— ornate doors, wheels and decorative shapes— infused with intricate motifs like flowers, plants, birds and repetitive patterns.
My project, "CHANGE YOUR MINDSET," urges conservative societies to empower their daughters by prioritizing education, career development, and personal choice over early marriage. I drew inspiration from my parents' unwavering support for my independence and dreams, challenging societal norms.
At times, we question our ability for original thinking. It's valuable to pause our routine and explore new avenues for enhancing creative thinking. One should recognize the abundant opportunities that await the imaginative and observant mind by assessing the environment.
The "Fifty Things About Myself" project allowed me to revisit cherished memories, from childhood mischief to teenage adventures. Through playful design, it showcases 50 aspects of my life across five phases, symbolized by a spiral representing life's evolution and growth.
