We Used To Ask God, Now We Ask Google
A series of three books with a sculptural metal jacket, exploring monolithic structures both ancient and modern, looking at the inherent human desire for connectivity.
My art and design practice is strongly conceptually lead, using first hand research and physical fabrication processes to create sculptural, editorial and video based work. My current body of work is an exploration surrounding the human condition in the digital age, looking at themes including hyperreality, simulacra, overstimulation, religion and connectivity. These are investigated through the lens of land art, poetry and bookmaking.

Sculptures created from the earth, left on beaches, in fields and on roadsides to remind the viewer that we all came from the earth and that one day we will return. An antidote to AI and digital art.
A video in reflection of a pilgrimage I made across England following a fibre optic internet cable. Beginning at Widemouth Bay and ending where it all began - at the hospital where I was born.
A publication exploring temptation, comparing the apple in the garden of Eden with the Apple that now sits in so many of our pockets. A poster doubling as a jacket containing 200 apple seeds which the viewer fills in.
Rocks created from plaster and caffeine. An imitation of a natural object made with a drug that increases heart rate, anxiety and irritability, communicating how humans living in in the digital age have sped the world up far too much.
Within this book is an exploration of the UK’s ley lines and my subsequent journeys to three of them which I then slept along and recorded my dreams.
