The Dreams
Colour mono - print inspired by the poem "The Minister for Exams" by Brian Patten. The poem tells the tale of the authors childhood and the mystical dreams he experienced in hope of a bright and wonderful future.
I'm an illustrator and printmaker, my work entails a variety of medias - such as; hand drawn pen compositions, digital design, ceramics and screen print.
I find inspiration through colour and shape and love to experiment with these elements in my design process. My subject matters, influenced by personal experiences throughout my childhood and life, have also recently been influenced by poetry and how I can communicate the intricacy of poems through colour and shape compositions.
Interning at Everyone Illustration agency last year allowed me to gain experience within the creative industry, helping promote artists business and working on website design. I am currently interning at MHI Marketing agency as a Marketing Assistant, working on the post - production of creative projects and content creation for the agency itself. These opportunities have furthered my experience for my professional portfolio.
