Product Design Technology 2023
I’m Ellen, a graduate product design technology student. After working in various retail and administrative roles after leaving school, I decided to return to education in order to find work that I actually enjoy... and that's where design comes in.
As a lover of learning, the diverse nature of design work is what drew me in. Over the past three years I've become proficient in Solidworks, Arduino, Adobe Suite, Keyshot, Microsoft Office, and Rhino (as well as its plugin Grasshopper). I've also honed my skills in concepting, sketching, graphic design, UI design, 3D printing, and prototyping.
In Summer 2022 I undertook a work placement at UWE, organising and optimising the product design courses to a high standard.
I'm looking for opportunities that align with my current skillset, as well as challenge me to learn new things and grow as a designer.
