Jess Jolliffe

I graduated with a degree in Illustration, from Arts University Bournemouth in 2017. Since then, I have worked as a graphic designer for five years. These experiences led me to aspire to a career in the animation industry.

I am a 2D animator, designer and rigger, passionate about bringing characters to life through animation and design. My work is primarily aimed at children and the preschool audience. I thrive when learning new software and enjoy bringing a tangible, textured look and feel to digital animation and illustration.

I have created my first animated short film for children, Monster School. This film takes children through the school day, through the eyes of Ralph the monster, who is desperate to win his first medal at school.

Software: Procreate, Adobe Creative Suite and Toon Boom Harmony.

Full of Character

Full of character is a self-initiated project I completed during the summer of my MA Degree. I was inspired by social media stickers and gifs. These were all created in Illustrator and After Effects.
