Roots
This project is a series of images that explores identity and culture, drawing inspiration from my English and Iraqi heritage.
Hi, I'm Sarah, a fashion communication Graduate from UWE. I am an Image Maker and Art Director, who specialises in visual storytelling. I bring concepts to life with photography and editing; I enjoy creating imagery that I find beautiful and meaningful. My goal is always to produce work that resonates deeply and leaves a lasting impression.
My approach to photography is quite versatile, as I get motivated by anything that inspires me. I enjoy every step of the creative process, from ideation to execution. This allows me to develop advanced hands-on skills, including: camera/ lighting operations, set-design, styling, casting, location-scouting, and other advanced skills within Adobe software.
This project is a series of images that explores identity and culture, drawing inspiration from my English and Iraqi heritage.
This project reconnects nostalgia and freedom of expression through the themes of fairytales and mythical creatures, using creative direction, I wanted to bring back the nature of fairytales, that I enjoyed as child through the eyes of an adult viewer.
