Rosie Tweddell

As an upcoming graduate in fashion textiles, with a specialisation in knitwear design, I possess extensive experience working with both domestic and industrial knitting machines. My expertise lies in pushing the boundaries of knitwear through experimental sampling processes, using unconventional yarns, and consistently delivering fresh and innovative designs through a variety of techniques, which was recognised by industry professionals having been awarded the Framework of Knitters award.

In addition to my design skills, I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I am a hardworking and driven individual, eager to apply and expand my skills within the knitwear design sector. I am currently seeking opportunities to join a dynamic knitwear design team.

Sculptural Play

These samples resemble our surrounding environment exhibiting sculptural forms, asymmetry, and bold proportions, capturing the essence of the urban landscape's chaos and order. Knitted together lycra with black plastic sheeting sourced from the scrap store.

Dazzle Knit

Having explored the juxtaposing patterns within our architectural structures in our environment, the abstract forms I extracted reminded me a lot of Dazzle art. I explore these patterns through partial knitting.
