Damien Fowler

Hello! My name is Damien Fowler.

Storytelling and collaborating with actors has always intrigued me, this has manifested in Directing and Casting scripted dramas throughout my time at University. I enjoy Directing projects that follow flawed characters navigating stressful situations and moral dilemmas. An example of this is my most recent project, ‘Behind Sterlingate,’ a political drama about desperation and the lengths a person will go to save their public image.

Moving forward, it is important to me to seek a career that merges my love for scripted film with my enthusiasm for engaging constructively with people. My aim as a beginner filmmaker is to step outside my comfort zone and develop my current skill of creative problem solving, bringing it to a professional level. Based in London & Bristol, I am searching for opportunities that allow me to pursue my long-term goal of becoming a compassionate leader in

film.
