Filmmaking 2024
Filmmaking has always fascinated me, especially the creative process of directing and storytelling. With a background in assistant directing and a solid foundation in film editing and sound design, I am enthusiastic about contributing my passion to film projects and commercial agencies.
I have had the privilege of learning from esteemed directors in my country, Iran, such as Farnoosh Samadi and Ali Asgari, both of whom are members of The Oscar Academy. Additionally, I have directed five short films and documentaries, one of which titled "Azar" received awards from the "Art Without Limits Film Festival."
Furthermore, I pursued a filmmaking bachelor's degree at UWE Bristol, to expand my knowledge and skills. Over the past three years, I've engaged in over 15 university film projects and participated in external activities like networking events and workshops.
Excited about new opportunities, I am committed to leveraging my skills to advance a company's mission.

The Feral Men
A documentary team revives the world's worst folk band for one final concert... As the casting director, I navigated the challenges of sourcing and selecting talent, ensuring the right fit for the roles while meeting the project's demands.
Wrong End of Stick
This advert for Soil Association showcases Toby wearing an outfit made of leaves at a trendy, sustainable gathering, humorously illustrating the importance of understanding organic fashion. As the sound designer, I played a pivotal role in shaping the film's atmosphere.
Stepping Stones
This film portrays multiple narratives of girls' unpleasant experiences, mainly focusing on instances of sexual harassment from men. As the assistant director, I was responsible for crucial tasks such as completing call sheets, production schedules, and assisting with casting.
Super Sophie
Super Sophie receives a ransom note claiming her girlfriend Freya is held hostage at their school... As the sound designer, I focused on enhancing the film's atmosphere through meticulous sound design, playing a vital role in the audience's immersion.
Azar
My documentary revolves around a woman who, despite grappling with disabilities, assumes the pivotal role of Chief Doctor at "Kahrizak," a charitable institution for disabled people in Iran. This documentary won an award at the "Art Without Limits Film Festival".
