Khaya Mbanga

An aspiring screenwriter and director, I have written multiple female-centred short films with a focus on girlhood and coming-of-age. I have worked in a diverse number of roles in film, from art director and production designer to production manager and casting director, all of which have provided me with a wider appreciation for the film craft. In the future, I wish to make horrors and dramas for woman and girls of colour, queer voices and other marginalised communities.
