Toni Lotta Groner

As a filmmaker and visual arts enthusiast, I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of genres and artistic forms. My work explores the intersection of experimental filmmaking and documentary, aiming to amplify marginalised voices. Drawn to the spontaneity of documentary, I embrace the creative choices made in the moment, believing in capturing the rawness of life and curating its essence in my projects.
In 2023, I directed Wicked & Bad, a short documentary that garnered recognition, winning the Encounters UK Student Award and the Craft Award in Editing at the RTS Student Awards and was showcased at other festivals including British Shorts Berlin.
Beyond documentaries, I have created a commercial and gained some experience in the camera department on narrative and experimental projects. Through my work, I aspire to challenge conventions, empower young people, and use art as a tool for social change and a means to challenge state

dictates.
