Ayva Lily Tierney

I am a graphic designer and illustrator from Sydney, Australia. I also have commercial experience with logo and branding design gained before joining MA Graphic Arts. My recent work for the London School of Mosaic, during the ‘We Design for the Community’ program, supported by the Major of London, has enabled me to further refine my skills in logo design, while supporting a community-based charity.

My MA project has grown from a series of research activities into the user experience and dissatisfaction of women in snowsports, an industry that often designs for women as though they are just smaller men, sometimes called the ‘shrink it and pink it’ approach.

Through embedding myself in the communities I am designing for, I have developed a female-led approach, where needs can be interrogated from the ground up and innovative solutions are found. Please view my portfolio and get in touch regarding work opportunities.

Fifty Things About me Poster Design
