Mia Matthews

I'm Mia, an aspiring graphic designer based in the South West. I have extensive experience in Adobe products, working to deadlines on briefs and publishing and printing. I work predominantly with typography (I would describe myself as a type addict), but I often explore the intersection between Illustration and letter form. I would describe my design style as very modernist and forward thinking.

Outside of my degree, I work as a graphic design freelancer. I currently create advertising posters and merchandise for the Radical Film Network. Recently I was awarded a membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers with a Pass as part of the 2024 ISTD Awards.

In terms of my future in design, I'm interested in moving towards the brand design world, and I'm looking for some work experience as an Intern or Junior designer for a design agency or company to aid my career into branding.
