Act VII, Scene 1/3
Act VII is a measure between a long silence and a very long silence. It precisely records how I did the measurement through both etching and sound like a Ludo game.
I am an artist, and an explorer.
I am in awe of the rigorous rational world where deductive methods prevail, yet I also treasure the moments when intuition corrupts the intellection. My work is therefore informed by a delicate balance between fiction and reality, poetry and rigour, to reflect upon broader inquiries of language, perception and rationality.
I am particularly intrigued by the inherent value and experiential qualities of the making process itself, which often tends to be concealed or abstracted within the finished product. Thus, my practice is dedicated to revealing and preserving these hidden dimensions, by working with graphics, printmaking, materiality, and maybe anything visible (or yet visible) at hand.

I tried to recall and reproduce a stormy summer day on a two-dimensional surface by transforming the oppressive invasion of rain and wind into the act of nailing staples into the paper and a brutal one-directional wiping of ink.
