JD de Wit

I am a multi-disciplinary printmaker, using relief print, etching, and collage to transmute complex memories and emotional landscapes. I know that art can be a liberating and empowering force, and I aspire to create spaces in which art and art education is accessible. In my practice I also value the time and energy that goes into learning or strengthening a skill, re-examining ideas of care and craft through a critical lens.
