Gretta Coker

Gretta is a 2D generalist and filmmaker based in Bristol and the south of Ireland. She is drawn to the weird and wonderful. With a particular passion for bringing characters to life through film and strongly believes in the power of storytelling and its ability to inspire and connect with others. Her experience spans a variety of independent student projects, live briefs, and collaborative work, allowing her to develop a wide-ranging skill set. In her latest film, Tethered, she delves into themes of manipulation within relationships, brought to life through a gothic folklore-inspired visual style.

I have always been drawn to art from the moment I could hold a pencil. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are taking part in fun drawing competitions with my dad. i hope to channel this love for creativity into the animation industry and create stories that resonate with and inspire others.
