Grace Richards
I am a multidisciplinary creative working across campaign marketing, photography, advertising, and moving image. My practice is driven by a strong focus on concept-led research and storytelling, allowing me to explore themes such as community, memory, and identity through various mediums, with a specialisation in analogue photography. I enjoy translating ideas into compelling visual outcomes—taking projects from the initial brief through to final execution with a hands-on, thoughtful approach.
With experience in both solo and collaborative environments, I thrive in roles that require creative problem-solving, adaptability, and visual communication. I bring energy, precision, and intention to every stage of the creative process, whether I’m directing, shooting, editing, or curating content.
Above all, I’m passionate about creating meaningful, visually engaging work that resonates with people and leaves a lasting impact.

Kovyow - Self Directed Project
This project captures the essence of St Merryn, my childhood home, through intimate medium format film portraits. Blending memory and present-day reality, it preserves the quiet beauty, people, and personal significance of a place deeply rooted in my past.
Texture
This black and white series explores the contrast between refined styling and rugged coastal textures. Without colour, elegance and rawness clash, highlighting poised figures against weathered rocks and tides, evoking timelessness, quiet drama, and a dialogue between fashion and nature.
Beauty Papers - Editorial
This project restages past modelling photographs, capturing the same women now grown, empowered, and self-assured. It explores how beauty, identity, and self-perception evolve over time, celebrating personal growth, individuality, and the strength found in revisiting and reclaiming one’s own image.
Exposure
Exposure uses fashion photography to examine how women are portrayed in media. Referencing cinema and pop culture, the project explores themes of visibility, vulnerability, and control—challenging the dominant gaze and offering space for more nuanced female representation.
Fluidity
Shot on 35mm film, this explores the fluidity of movement and material, drawing inspiration from the elegance of bodies in motion and the natural flow of water. The imagery captures softness and grace, blurring the lines between form and environment.
Paolo Carzana - Campaign
The SS25 campaign, Undoing and Exposing the Selfishness of Humanity, critiques societal narcissism, urging reflection over vanity. Inspired by the designer’s press release, the imagery emphasises community, sustainability, and intricate design, encouraging viewers to confront their impact on the world.
