My name is Martyna Gondowicz, I am a multidisciplinary creative, located in the south of England. Primarily specialising in fashion photography and marketing. With a degree in Fashion Communication (class of 2025). My practice is rooted in heritage, identity representation and expression. My approach to photography is rooted in the need to evoke emotion, whilst representing the complexities of individuals and how images can act as a visual representation of how we interpret the world.
I work across a range of creative disciplines and formats, including digital and film photography, styling, publication design and concept creation. Combining the process of traditional techniques, and contemporary perspectives, which is accompanied by my technical knowledge and postproduction skills. Collaboration, project management and creative direction have become the forefront of my work.
As a multidisciplinary creative, I believe that adaptability to all roles and situations is the most fundamental source of successful work.
Desiderium is a self-directed project. Capturing the essence of Polish identities, looking into the people, culture and their identities. This work highlights post-soviet aesthetics and interlinks visual elements of Eastern Europe, such as architecture, to reinforce the cultural significant of Masha Popova’s identity. Aiming to evoke a narrative that both reflects Popova’s design influencer and upbringing.
