20-year-old writer-director based in Bristol/Manchester, with a strong focus on editing.
Over 3 years I’ve amassed 5 directing, 5 writing and 7 editing credits (plus other production-focused roles) across a diverse portfolio, spanning genres and modes: surrealist drama, politically-focused documentary, comedic commercial short-form, experimental art-film/documentary series, mixed-media, etc.
During my studies, much of my work explored storytelling through form. Mixed-media is an integral story device in ‘Single Exposure’, while ‘OverSubscribed’ explores the impact of expression through filmmaking/video-creation, for example. I’m interested in films unique ability to communicate ideas through presentation alone - the basis of my dissertation video-essay, exploring how a form-first approach comments on the relationship between art, artist and audience.
My interest in storytelling compels my writing, and my editing is an extension of this.
Additionally, I’ve gained experience in corporate videography, most recently joining Project Zulu in South Africa (interviewer, cameraperson, editor) and editorial work for YMCA.

About a singer losing her voice, this film achieves its playful, campy surrealism through abstract visuals, gory cutaways, scenes presented as live-theatre, non-linear montaging of scenes, invisible cuts and more, which I saw through from scriptwriting to the final cut.
A pressing and joyful documentary about the support in education for children with autism. With half of state-funded SEND schools oversubscribed, and other support issues explored through parents testimonies, a ‘video-creators academy’ adapts to provide support that governments struggled to.
An employee of OSIRIS.AI that provides VR experiences with deceased loved ones, has recently lost her mother. Artificial conversations with her mother poetically intercut with her exploring her mother's house, untouched since her death. A gentle, poignant and beautiful film.
Edited and shot to imitate a stage performance, and weaving together poetry read by actresses of different ages. This film, inspired by the pagan 'triple goddess', reclaims the word 'crone' by showcasing the beauty of women of all ages.
