Alex Mitchell

I’m a UWE Filmmaking graduate who excels at student-level producing and project management. I’m drawn to projects that create conversations around underrepresented topics, whether it’s promoting safe queer sex in a student commercial or exploring self-confidence and healing in a drama about a girl who loses her voice. It's rewarding to work with people from all walks of life, learning from their perspectives and creating important stories with them. I bring my drive to make a positive impact on and off screen to every project I’m part of. In the future, I aim to take these skills into natural history filmmaking, where my effort will be to create work that supports the environment and to protect the amazing animals we have.

Cease to Resound

Birdcage

Birdcage is a graduate film that I managed risk assessments for. It is about two brothers who live in a future where "Sweeps" threaten their lives for the colour of their skin.
