Tom Price

Queer/ south-west based/ artist/ painter

I am exploring the affective capabilities of digital media/ questioning how queer lives have been impacted by a terminally online culture.

My current project /virtual intimacy/ explores contemporary digital sex culture/ examining the impact of digital cruising on queer populations.

I repurpose digital pornography/ queer erotica/ images of myself and others into fleshy/ abstract/ figurative collage paintings/ inviting the viewer to cruise my artworks/ spotting body parts in the anonymous fleshy mass.
