My practice has increasingly centred around engaging with the land and exploring how human experience both shapes, and is shaped by, place. I’m interested in the intersection of personal and psychological narratives within a broader societal and environmental context.
Alongside my personal practice, I’m keen to be involved in socially and environmentally engaged projects, both creatively and organisationally. I hope to build on my experience in exhibition and event production and curation, and to continue facilitating — particularly by designing and delivering student-focused photographic residencies that encourage community and collaboration, and are grounded in sustainability. I’m looking forward to continuing supporting artists and audiences in engaging with place and process in meaningful ways.

As viewers move through an ancient, otherworldly landscape, they encounter resistance in forms of life that are strikingly beautiful yet shadowed by threat.
Non-human perspectives bear witness against the Anthropocene’s dominant gaze, implicating us all in the extractive systems and violent legacies driving the planet toward irreversible harm.
When Sea Becomes Sky (2023)
Made in response to clearing my late grandparents' home in Guernsey, this work explores notions of loss and absent-presence by considering how identity is tethered to our natural and built environments.
The title 'When Sea Becomes Sky' refers to the transitions we have to navigate in loss, and how those left behind find solace in the spaces which map our experiences of grief.
