Yasmeen Belhaj
I am a creative technologist and interactive developer interested in using digital media to help people explore ideas, stories, and information in more engaging ways. My work brings together immersive media, creative coding, spatial interaction, and interface design, using tools such as Unity, C#, AR Foundation, p5.js, Three.js, and web technologies.
I am especially drawn to projects that translate complex or sensitive source material into thoughtful interactive experiences, from AR data visualisation and spatial reconstruction to 360° walkthroughs and generative drawing. After graduation, I hope to continue developing work across creative technology, interactive media, and digital experience design.

Visualising Truth: Interactive Spatial Reconstruction
An interactive spatial reconstruction exploring a contested real-world event through linked scenes, camera movement, and layered source material. Built in Unity, the project considers how fragmented visual evidence can be organised into a clear and ethical digital experience.
William Champion's Grotto: 360° Walkthrough
An interactive 360° walkthrough of William Champion’s Grotto, created in collaboration with South Gloucestershire Council to make a rarely accessible heritage site available remotely through connected viewpoints and spatial navigation.
Palestine: Lit by Loss
A mobile AR candlelight vigil using real-world datasets to translate child death tolls into spatial remembrance. Built in Unity, the project combines regional interaction, generated candles, and a separate names feature for the Gaza region.
