Amy Sowerby

I am an aspiring production and post-production sound technician. I have qualifications in Avid Protools 101 and 110 and I have experience in commercials, documentary, animation, narrative and broadcast audio. I enjoy working on projects that allow me to explore how sound can be used experimentally to push emotional and narrative plot points. I have experience producing stereo sound mixes and I have started producing mixes in 5.1. I am eager to learn more about surround sound mixing and processes.
I have directed two projects while at university: a documentary, and a commercial. I hope to learn more about story development in order to improve my creative skills.
I am a strong problem-solver and I work well in a team. I aim to continue expanding my knowledge and skills and pursue a professional audio role in film and TV.
