STRAY DOG
1932. After years of feeling suffocated by his brother, Oz seeks independence through his rule-free travelling silent cinema enterprise.
Hi, I’m Isabelle, and I’m a production designer based in Bristol.
Studying at UWE has given me the opportunity to explore a range of genres and collaborate closely with different departments. Creating short-form projects has developed my skills in research, sourcing and set dressing. It has also strengthened my eye for continuity and detail, and deepened my passion for visual storytelling.
Low-budget filmmaking has pushed me to be more resourceful, creative and organised. My enthusiasm for environmental protection has also driven me to become BAFTA Albert certified and to source more sustainably, helping to reduce the impact our craft has on the environment. While my passion is set dressing, I have also enjoyed working on construction builds, prop and costume design. I am committed to crafting immersive experiences, and I have put this into practice by beginning to work within the industry.
