Melody Addicott

I am a Bristol-based multidisciplinary artist working across illustration, printmaking, textiles and sculpture. Inspired by folklore, fairytales, and the whimsical side of everyday life, I create bold, playful work that explores beauty in the unusual. My practice spans exhibitions, publications, commissions, collaborations, and performance, with experience ranging from production photography to large-scale sculptural and print-based projects.

Recent highlights include exhibiting at the 44AD Annual Print Exhibition, contributing to a homeware design collaboration with IKEA, having artwork featured in Diabetes UK Balance Magazine, and screening work at the Arnolfini. Alongside my wider artistic practice, I am developing my career in children's illustration, and I'm currently writing and illustrating my first children's book, based on supporting children with Type One Diabetes. My ambition is to create imaginative, supportive stories and artwork that inspire children and make them feel more seen.
