Doran Edwards

Doran Edwards (b. 1983, England) is an artist using photography, sound and music to explore the relationship between the body, intuition and everyday life. Since 2018, the onset of M.E. guided Edwards into a new healing relationship with his body through the daily practice of mindfulness, sinking deeper into the areas of human experience that words cannot reach. No longer able to access theories, his central intention is to follow experience, approaching photography like music for the eyes to draw-out a feeling over any clear subject and allow meaning to arise as its own outcome. His works have been featured on British Airways, MTV, BBC Radio, American College Radio; touring with artists such as Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, and The War on Drugs; exhibiting at Dulwich Picture Gallery Harald Sohlberg retrospective, Festival Classicos Alcala; and performing as Unknown Devices at Café Oto with David Toop.
