Becca Leia Cooper

My work explores a fake, other fantasy world filled with gaudy characters parodying West Country culture and surrounding itself with rolling fields. I work interchanging between digital spaces and physical spaces, creating pockets of worlds in each.
My practise involves 3D models and large mixed media installation pieces with a focus on immersive medias such as projection mapping, scanning, AR and audio elements. Each piece intends to be playful and campy - inspired by music culture, folklore, the illuminated carnival, and legends like the Wurzels.
